A lot of people dream of a Caribbean wedding but imagine that it is fraught with complications and red tape.
This couldn’t be further from the truth, however, and a Caribbean wedding can actually be easier to arrange than one in the UK and, maybe surprisingly, often cheaper!
Almond Resorts provide a comprehensive wedding and honeymoon planning service which can take care of even the smallest detail, leaving you free to concentrate on enjoying the whole stress-free experience.
Almond’s very own wedding coordinators will help you through every step, with a range of flower options available as well as photography, corsages and live music.
The legalities will all be taken care of also, and any requirements will be discussed with you in full, making sure every angle is covered.
There is so much to see and do on the beautiful Caribbean island of St Lucia. With a wealth of activities on offer on Almond Resort’s all-inclusive holidays in St Lucia, you are already spoilt for choice, but for those looking to experience even more, there are some fantastic adventurous opportunities.
St Lucia is a fantastic island for scuba diving, and there are dives to cater for all levels of experience.
The Shipwreck of the Lesleen M is one of the region’s greatest dives. The cargo vessel was deliberately sunk in the waters off the west coast of St Lucia, just to the north of the Piton mountains in the mid-1980s in order to create an artificial reef.
The pristine, clear waters afford excellent visibility and a bewildering array of colourful fish weaving in and out of the anemone and fire coral-covered wreck, creating ideal underwater photograph opportunities.
The wreck’s cargo area is also accessible to divers, who can swim along the ship’s walkways, with the chance to spot juvenile frogfish, soldier fish, snappers, angelfish and tuna.

Almond Beach Village is the perfect setting for an all-inclusive Caribbean holiday with children. Situated on Barbados’ pristine Platinum Coast, sheltered from the Atlantic on the calm waters of the Caribbean Sea, Almond Beach Village is set in lush tropical gardens on a former sugar plantation.
With ten swimming pools, children will be spoilt for choice, and the calm reef protected waters are great for snorkelling. Older children can challenge themselves on the resort’s par-three golf course, and kids will enjoy exploring the 32 acre grounds.
There are informal dining options with children’s menus and kids’ clubs offering plenty of fun activities for 3-12-year-olds, including beach and pool games, supervised watersports, and even local dance lessons and a disco night. There is also a full service nursery for children up to two-years, a spacious, kid’s only activity area and a games room. Parents can also escape with designated adults-only areas in the resort.
Outside of the hotel, Barbados offers many options for families. Children will love the award-winning Atlantis Submarine Adventure tour and the chance to explore shipwrecks up to 150 feet under the ocean.
The Barbados Wildlife Reserve should also prove a hit, with the chance to see Barbados Green Monkeys, turtles, Brocket Deer and caiman. With all this on offer, the Almond Beach Village makes for the perfect all-inclusive Caribbean resort for families.
